The current project has some funding but is seaking more.
Linacre NAG want to plant street trees in the streets to link the local shopping areas of Stanley Rd/Linacre Rd and local residents as well as local schools and the newly refurbished canal towpath,Melanere Park and new housing areas via the soon to be built new footbridge.
This means possible planting trees on Pennington Rd,Litherland Lane,Braby St,Webster St and Linacre Lane amongst other possibilities.
Already this year 30 trees have been planted between Sefton Centre and the Litherland Ward Area along Stanley Rd and Linacre Lane.
